The Rundown: Sisko and the Maquis plan to take on Lore’s most dangerous weapon.

Sisko and the rest of the Maquis are hiding in the Typhon Expanse and he is trying to convince the rest of the crew of his plans and how Lore has changed the universe. A revelation that Kira takes issue with when he tells Tasha the truth about her fate. At the same time, Worf and Kahless await execution by Shax, but when he arrives and kills one of them, he picks up Kahless’ sword and discovers the dark truth.
As things continue to fall apart in his perfect universe, Lore seeks to start over and Data convinces him to wait. Sisko meets with the Maquis remnant led by Spock as they all discover that Lore has taken people close to them and is using them to power his plans in each of the quadrants. People that will either need to be saved to destroyed to save the universe.
The Story: Cantwell delivers some great world building in this issue. There is a wonderful level of tension throughout the story as Sisko and the others discover what they are up against and how personal the stakes are going to be. Cantwell does a great job of showcasing the characters and having surprises sprinkled in that ramp up the drama of the story.
The Art: Tinto delivers beautifully detailed and visually dynamic art throughout the issue. Every page has something great to experience.
